Sparrow Hall is an American author and songwriter. He is a graduate of Bennington College and lives in upstate New York. His prose explores the lives of characters coming-of-age in a modern world.

Hall is the founder of Hydrogen Media and the innovator behind its “digital collection” publishing platform. Treating literature as a continuing narrative, a digital collection allows a reader to connect with a story through multiple channels (text, music, motion pictures, art)—providing a deeper, richer experience with the story, and one that can be joined through further interpretations.

In October 2009, Hydrogen Media released Sparrow Hall’s Two Blue Wolves digital collection, including original compositions by members of Stellastarr*, The Hourly Radio, Elefant, ArpLine and Ana Lola Roman, among others. 15% of every sale is being contributed to the Alzheimer’s Association to go towards research and caregiver support. Hall is an advocate for Alzheimer’s Disease research, which plays a central role in Two Blue Wolves.

Hall’s short story, “Ms. W. is Out Today” was featured in the February 2008 issue of Pomp & Circumstance Magazine, and his collaboration with fellow writer Paul G. Maziar, entitled “Winter Bunker,” was included in the 2009 anthology The Good Things About America published by Write Bloody Publishing.

Outside the publishing world, Sparrow Hall serves as one half of the electro pop duo, A Crowd Electric (ACE). Together, with creative partner David Crabb, ACE has produced remixes for Madonna and Britney Spears, and has received top mentions in the dance music category.
